Held at Somerset House, London in 2013, this symposium was the culmination of the touring exhibition, chaired by Glenn Adamson. The distinguished speakers included Eric Parry, Dr Jerzy Kierkuć-Bieliński, Joanna Bird, Suzanne Lovell and Jeremy Theophilus.
The symposium was well attended by architects, curators, artists, makers, collectors, designers, and writer. The evening rounded off with a reception at the Sir John Soane’s Museum, London.
Marking the line: Ceramics and Architecture featured four ceramic artists, Christie Brown, Carina Ciscato, Nicholas Rena and Clare Twomey in response to the life and work of Sir John Soane.
